About Me

Hiya, I’m Amber Yaxcal. Raised in Los Angeles, my fascination with technology started in my father’s job, where I spent my childhood playing on computers and designing custom posters in Photoshop. They may not have been masterpieces back then, but the thrill of seeing something I created on a screen come to life in print stayed with me. That same collaborative spirit followed me into gaming with my sister, where I learned early on how to analyze complex environments and guide a strategy—skills that naturally translated into my love for user experience.
Though I began my college journey as a Studio Art major, discovering Visual Communication Design was a turning point. It’s where my background in fine art met the logic of code. Today, I specialize in Front-End Development and UI Design, focusing on how to weave brand identity into interactive digital stories. There’s a unique joy in using HTML and CSS to build a cohesive narrative for a company, and I’m dedicated to creating websites that aren’t just functional, but have a lasting "place in the heart" of the user.
